Party Week?

by Veronica

So last week was just as hectic as I thought it would be. With all of the birthday’s I had to celebrate and Mother’s Day my checking account has depleated to about 7.50! Haha, thankfully I got paid yesterday or I’d be screwed. I spent about $200 on gifts for everyone. From birthdays, to graduation, to mother’s day. I had a blast last week, but thankfully I don’t have to go through it again until next May heh.

This week is a somewhat party week I suppose. Chris’ parents are out of town and he plans on having some get together with friends and what not which should be fun since he has a pool as well. My mother is also going out of town tomorrow (btw, today is her birthday Happy Birthday Mom!) which means I get the house to my self for about a week. Which also means, I’ll have friends over as well (but at least my mother is aware that I’ll have friends over). This week should be fun (hopefully). Tomorrow night is Chris’ “party” and then Thursday we all plan to go to St. Augustine for the day which is always fun.

Anyone remember the band called 5ive? They were big in the late 90′s early 2000. I was a huge fan when I was younger and I began listening to them again lately out of boredom. I forgot how cute the guys were though, although that may just be their accents that I fancy haha. Although the guys now are in their late 20′s early 30′s they still look yummy haha. Listen to any music you use to like recently? If so, what? If not, anything you want to listen to again?

I attempted to download Photoshop cs2 but it didn’t work for some reason (that’s 15 hours wasted argh) but I may try again at some point. Expect a new layout soon (hopefully). I bought Garden State and I am now in love with that movie, so maybe a layout that’s related to that movie will be up.

Brittany just called and we’re about to head out, which is good because I need to buy a swimsuit for tomorrow (if I end up swimming). When I get home I plan on baking my mother a cake that says “Happy 24th Birthday” on it, granted she’s not turning 24 but I thought it’d be funny haha. Have a happy and safe week. Anyone or do you know anyone who is graduating this week or next? I know a few people, which means I need to start sending some cards out soon heh.

YES! I loved five..thanks to my friend Nicki who was in love with Abs.

I still listen to them. And my *NSYNC. and BSB. and Spice Girls. And even Hanson. I’m a nerd for cheesy pop music.

I’ve heard about 5ive, but I wasn’t really a fan. I was a huge NSYNC fan (still am) and I liked BSB as well.

PS CS doesn’t work for a lot of people. You need a fast and up to date PC for that, I hear. I just use the general PS7, and it works great. :)

Omg I totally remember 5ive. They had this song I really loved “when the lights go out” or something like that. Aww memories of youth haha. And a big happy bday to your mommy. I think it’s cute to have a happy 24th bday, she’ll like it much more than if you put her actual age on that heh.

HAha yeah I remember 5ive. They still play some of their songs in the “cheesy pop” room at a club I go to lol. I’ve just recently got back into East 17, they were around before 5ive and they were awesome.

Oh wow, that’s so cool!! My mom’s birthday is today, May 17th! :) Hope your mom had a lovely birthday and enjoyed the cake. I would’ve baked my mom a cake but I didn’t have a lot of time.

As a matter of fact, I listened to a song from kylie Minogue yesterday that was quite old. It was funny seeing how I used to be into the whole pop genre. :p But now I’m a hard-core rocker.

5ive. I haven’t heard mention of them in ages, but I definitely do remember them. The 90′s were the golden age of boy-bands.. lol.

Enjoy that party week, it sounds like you’re going to have a blast!

It was so cool back in the day lol. And old Destiny’s Child songs.. yeah *love* lol. ouch… I have about £3 in one of my bank accounts lol. it’s depressing.

I am proud to admit I had BSB, NSync and Five CDs. I also really liked Savage Garden (on his own Darren Hayes kinda sucks). :D And you know what? I still have all of those guys on my Winamp & iPod playlists! Yeah, go me. :P

I’m sorry to hear about your issues with getting Photoshop. I’m lucky to have a brother-in-law who is nice enough to supply me with all my program needs.

Hope you had fun in St. Augustine ;) I went there last Spring Break and had a blast. And yum, all the seafood one could possibly eat! Oooh, I can’t wait for the Garden State layout (if you still plan on making one). I heart that movie. Peter Sarsgaard, Natalie Portman, and Zach Braff are amazing.

I love Garden State. :) Great movie.

I don’t remember 5ive… i was probably too young.. :( But i often go back to bands and then i feel all nostalgic about how i used to really obsess over some of their songs. :) Good looking singers don’t hurt one bit. ;D

I don’t know anyone who’s graduating soon… after all, it’s only half way through the school year here.

Wow… 15 hours for a failure… that would suck. I hate it when you get to about 90% and then the computer stuffs up. That’s depressing. Oh well, i hope you get it soon!

YAY for parties, they are always fun. Sounds like you will have a great week! I hope your mom has a good birthday too!

Old bands…man I used to listen to Hanson like no other. I was completely convinced I was going to marry Zak, then he got chubby and I decided I didn’t like them anymore. Haha…wow.

OMG, 5ive. I loved them many years ago! I loved “When the Lights Go Out” and “The ThingsYou Do” (At least, I think thats what the titles were). Recently, I’ve dug out my LFO, and O-Town CDs. Man, I’m such a loser.

My mother’s birthday was on May 10th… Kinda funny. So, I’m totally broke as well.

I don’t know anyone who is graduating soon… I’m very anti-social and rarely even talk to people in my college classes.

Ahh, hecticness and money loss seems to be a pretty common thing, =P. My “bank” is pretty much depleted as well, but hey, as long as the people I buy stuff for actually like what I got them, then it’s all good. Happy Birthday to everyone you know! Ooh, so your mom’s bday is only two days after Mother’s Day? That’s kind of like someone who’s brithday is near Christmas. It’s kind of nice though since you get all these things at once, ^_^.

5ive… the name actually sounds familiar but I don’t think I’ve ever listened to them. I was probably too young to really be introduced to them. I was… a teeny-bopper. Yeah, a huge Britney Spears and Backstreety boys fan was I.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to ask you something.. though I admit I’m a bit nervous to, =P. You said in the hosting form area not to IM you or e-mail, but you didn’t mention comments, so I hope this is alright *frets*. I was just wondering if I did not get accepted to be a hostee. I know it’s been awhile since I submitted the form so probably not, but I just didn’t want to go another place and then suddenly get this e-mail from you and then have two sites at two different domains.

edited by Naco: Hmm I looked through my emails and I dont see one about hosting from you? You could try and submit it again if you want :)
