As I sat innocently at the computer, darkness over took over my kingdom and surrounded all of me. I wandered about and found what was causing this, a horrible creature. So naturally I reached for my trusty weapon to fend of the darkness! With light-sword in hand I charged at the creature of the night only to discover this beast was much more powerful than I had thought.

Okay what actually happened was, I was at the computer working on the clean-up (deleting old members, cleaning out the projects yada yada) at Despair.nu when the power went out. Randomly. I didn’t exactly fight a beast after it happened, but I did find myself holding a flash light so I could read Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince in my room haha. Power was out for about an hour, and about 15-25 minutes after that went out again but this time for only a second. It was raining a lot yesterday and a little today, but I didn’t think it was enough to take the power out. Speaking of Harry Potter (sorda). Anyone hear the title of the 7th book? Hope everyone is having a nice holiday as well! I would have blogged sooner, but I was so busy with work and trying to find a new apartment when I move, as well as doing the clean-up thing for Despair.nu which is going very well. Depending on when you are reading this, what did you receive this year as a holiday gift? I opened my presents on Friday (celebrated it early with my mother, sister, and my sister’s husband since my mother is going out of town to visit family on Christmas day but I am not). My favorite gift is my new shiny digital camera, I love it. I’ll take pictures of the gifts over the next few days, still need to exchange gifts with friends too.

My Pirate Party with my friends is this Friday, and I still need to buy decorations too! Oh, last blog I mentioned going to Tally mid-December for more apartment hunting. Well myself and Becca found a place and signed the lease already! We will be living in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer,high-speed internet, cable w/ hbo, and this is all included in a bill of $450 per person. It’s a really nice place, and RIGHT next to the FSU stadium so yay for being able to walk to class!

My last day at my current job is Wednesday (the 27th), and apparently the administrtor made an announcement to the residents who live there. So of course all I keep hearing is “Aww we’re going to miss you! You are so nice” blah blah blah, it’s nice and all and a nice ego-boost but still.

Going to finish cleaning up the review area of Despair. The memberlist is going to take me the longest though, which is something I’ll be doing over the next few days. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! On the way to my sister’s house Friday, I took lots of pictures of random thins (mainly lights) so expect a lot more light textures over the day or so.

edit: I’ll be out of town Thursday the 14th and I will be coming home sometime Friday the 15th. Going apartment hunting AGAIN with my friend. 3 hour car rides suck boo.

So yesterday before I left for work I blogged, but of course it didn’t go through and I didn’t have time to re-blog so I just gave up and left for work (the site went down or something while I was trying to blog haha). But, I get back home from work and my mother tells me the girl who my friend and I were going to room with from January until about May gave the place to SOMEONE ELSE! We are pissed. The girl claims she thought myself and Becca didn’t want it anymore since she hadn’t heard from us in a few days … um hello we told YOU we wanted to see the lease first. Gah! I hope the roomates she gets are horrible and trash the place haha. Becca will be over in an hour so we can call a bunch of places and see if we can find somewhere to live.

I also hurt my right foot before I left for work (yesterday was just such a good day wasn’t it?), it still hurts this morning and now I have a lovely bruise. Oh yes, and walking hurts a lot too. Hopefully the area that I hit really hard on the wall (lol don’t ask I was in a hurry to get ready for work and the wall attacked me) is not broken, because that would suck. Yesterday before work I added a movie ratings and reading plugins, located under the me section. I thought they’d be fun to use and what not, especially since it’s winter break so I can read the books I started a few months ago and finish them!

Lastly, my friend Becca and I are also throwing a Pirate Party hopefully finding a place to live won’t hinder on our fun because I really want to have a nice party before we leave (it’s on the 29th of this month). I’m going to buy a bunch of decorations for my house and I also own a pirate costume so yay. There will be lots of food, cake (I’m going to try to make a pirate looking cake … somehow), as well as lots of pirate movie watching. I can’t wait. If you could have any type of themed party any time of the year what would you choose and why?

This month I will be adding a lot to this domain as well as giving Despair.nu a nice “over-haul” (remove some members, clean out the projects, etc). Also expect those Happy Feet screencaps soon, I accidently messed them up so I have to re-do them. Have a nice Tuesday, haha. Wish myself and Becca some luck on finding a place to live, otherwise we may just buy a Hummer and live in that!

December is going to be a crazy month. This week I am finishing up projects, essays, and final exams for school (I can’t wait to be done on Friday) which is why I have not been online much and blogging as much as I use to. Besides that there’s Christmas shopping (which I have not started yet oops!), work (my last day at my current job is the 27th!) and trying to be around my friends as much as possible.

So last Friday-Saturday I went on a trip to Tallahasse which is a place I will be moving to in the beginning of January, since I will be attending FSU there. My friend and I were able to find a townhouse that has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, and we’d be sharing it with this girl that lives there now (we know someone who knows her, which is how we found out she needed two roommates). Rent is only $450 a month and that includes actual rent, wireless internet, cable tv, and utilities which is an EXCELLENT deal. Also, we’ll only be staying there until May since around that time we will move into a 3 bedroom place with out friend who is there now. Going to set up something so we can meet the girl and sign a lease and what not, the girl seems nice (saw a picture of her) so hopefully all goes well.
According to the counter I have on my computer, I will be 21 in 44 days (January 17th). I can’t wait haha. I don’t even feel 20 yet but that is okay haha. How old are you? When is your next birthday?

Since school will be over December 8th I’ll be doing a lot to this site (I’ve already started adding some plugins, content, and other stuff) so expect a lot of stuff soon. Also Despair.nu itself will be going through a lot of changes, and I can not wait. I just can’t believe it’s almost 2007 already, where did the time go?! Thanks for the wonderful comments on the last few blogs, once I am finished with my classes I will be returning every single one of them! When does your holiday break start? I’m not too worried about most of my finals (since 3 classes are online), but the only one I am worried about is my Chemistry final but I plan on studying like crazy for it (it’s on Thursday). So wish me luck haha.
