edit: I’ll be out of town Thursday the 14th and I will be coming home sometime Friday the 15th. Going apartment hunting AGAIN with my friend. 3 hour car rides suck boo.
So yesterday before I left for work I blogged, but of course it didn’t go through and I didn’t have time to re-blog so I just gave up and left for work (the site went down or something while I was trying to blog haha). But, I get back home from work and my mother tells me the girl who my friend and I were going to room with from January until about May gave the place to SOMEONE ELSE! We are pissed. The girl claims she thought myself and Becca didn’t want it anymore since she hadn’t heard from us in a few days … um hello we told YOU we wanted to see the lease first. Gah! I hope the roomates she gets are horrible and trash the place haha. Becca will be over in an hour so we can call a bunch of places and see if we can find somewhere to live.
I also hurt my right foot before I left for work (yesterday was just such a good day wasn’t it?), it still hurts this morning and now I have a lovely bruise. Oh yes, and walking hurts a lot too. Hopefully the area that I hit really hard on the wall (lol don’t ask I was in a hurry to get ready for work and the wall attacked me) is not broken, because that would suck. Yesterday before work I added a movie ratings and reading plugins, located under the me section. I thought they’d be fun to use and what not, especially since it’s winter break so I can read the books I started a few months ago and finish them!
Lastly, my friend Becca and I are also throwing a Pirate Party hopefully finding a place to live won’t hinder on our fun because I really want to have a nice party before we leave (it’s on the 29th of this month). I’m going to buy a bunch of decorations for my house and I also own a pirate costume so yay. There will be lots of food, cake (I’m going to try to make a pirate looking cake … somehow), as well as lots of pirate movie watching. I can’t wait. If you could have any type of themed party any time of the year what would you choose and why?
This month I will be adding a lot to this domain as well as giving Despair.nu a nice “over-haul” (remove some members, clean out the projects, etc). Also expect those Happy Feet screencaps soon, I accidently messed them up so I have to re-do them. Have a nice Tuesday, haha. Wish myself and Becca some luck on finding a place to live, otherwise we may just buy a Hummer and live in that!

I’m sad to hear about you and your roomate losing the place. I hate when people do stupid stuff like that.

Ugh. You know, I just don’t get how people can be so stupid and awful like that. As much as what she did sucks maybe it’s good you’re not going to be rooming with her since she’s such a nincumpoop lol. So hopefully you’ll find something even better now and the two of you can enjoy it and laugh at her moronicness together
Good luck on finding another place, and I hope your party goes well too. Ooh and isn’t your foot one of the absolute worst things to hurt? There’s not much you can do to make it feel better and you can’t really get around walking on it. Take care!

Ugh! There is only one thing worse than your propective roommate giving your place to someone else…having your curent roommate give you 2 weeks to get out of the house/apartment you live in!
Good luck with the apartment hunting! I just went through that in June/July and it’s such a pain!
As for a themed party? Probably a Goth-Themed party.

That’s too bad about the apartment; I wish you the best of luck in finding a new place ASAP. Ever since I’ve started grad school I’ve been dealing with the same BS, fun isn’t it?
Themed party? The only one I’ve ever been to is an Alice in Wonderland theme and no one ever dressed for it, bummer.

That bitch, rofl. So sorry to hear that you didn’t get the place you wanted! That happened to me when I signed up for res this year, before starting University. They gave me a res that wasn’t even on my preference list. I was so pissed off, haha. But now I love my roommates to death and can’t live without them. *sigh* I’ll be so sad next year when we are all separated and stuff.
Umm, a themed party? Well, since I’ve never had one it would be hard for me to think of a theme, rofl. I’m not much of a party girl. ;p I think a beach/hawaiian party would be cool to throw though..

I bought a coloring book at Wal-Mart last night for $1 and it was called “Pirate Party”. You should go find one at your Wal-Mart and color it at your party.
I just re-activated my Despair.nu account. I missed it. Can’t wait for the overhaul/updates.
