Procrastinating Is Fun

by Veronica

Since I am running out of things to do before I start on school work, I thought I’d blog haha. Well, thanks for the lovely birthday wishes! I had a wonderful 21st birthday, but I still don’t feel 21 … and I don’t know if I ever will haha. Apartment living is nice, it’s been almost 3 weeks since my friend and I move to Tallahassee and we like it here. Our apartment complex is nice, but it’d be better if they people below us wouldn’t blast their music and watch tv so loudly! At least we have earplugs, but still it’s annoying. If we were see them, we will say something.

I ended up dropping one of my classes, but it was the 18th century art one since it’s later in the afternoon and I don’t feel comfortable walking home that late. Since I now have my new laptop (for about a week now) it’s so much easier to take notes in class too. I can write fast and all, but with my laptop my hands don’t hurt after a while heh. Thankfully, I can type fast too.

In a few minutes, after I stop slacking, I plan on typing up my notes from the first week of school and reading some stuff for classes too. I really like Florida State University though, it’s a nice college so yay. Also save on gas since I walk to and from class as well.

Well, I shall start on my work now so I don’t have to worry about it later tonight. Expect some screen caps for movies soon, the files I have for some newer movies (Happy Feet and Eragon) need to be converted to different files before I can screen cap them though. So, expect that soon. Also will be doing a lot of work to Despair.nu over the next week, especially since it’s first birthday is next month! Now I am off to watch the Law & Order marathon and do homework, hopefully haha.

Happy belated birthday. I’ve been 21 since July ’06 and I still don’t feel it. LOL.

A laptop is a nice addition to college. It makes things so much easier on you, doesn’t it?

Ah~ Naco it’s been so long since last I had spoken with you. You might remember me, might not. Heh.

That’s good that you live right by where your classes are so you can walk there. I would like to do that too when I attend college, but I still have no clue what I would major in though.

Happy belated birthday! Good to hear it was a nice one :) Haha, you never tend to feel the age you turn. I still feel 18.

It’s a good thing you’re close to the college. Besides saving gas, it must be much easier walking than having to drive there.

Good luck getting the stuff done instead of procrastinating ;)

Haha it’s good that you live close to school, it’s always awesome when you can get around easily. And as for neighbours, I know what you mean – mine play really loud rap music constantly, late into the night, and I can never sleep. Ahwells.

Aww, happy belated birthday! Earplugs sound like a good idea, haha – thankfully when my boy & I move in together in the summer, we’re moving somewhere quiet… we hope, lol.

I need to stop slacking… but it’s a bit late now. My exams are over, and I’m not back in lectures until Monday. Now I’m free to relax, I don’t know what to do! Funny, when I needed to be working I could find all the excuses in the world…

Great to hear that things are going swell! I just recently got a place for second year uni and hope that the people on the floor above me are quiet! My friends and I are in this kick-ass basement of a house and have housemates living upstairs. We do not know who they are yet, but will probably not see them much before we live together, lol.

University life is awesome, innit? It feels so liberating but can also take up a lot of time at the same time. You do not spend so much time in classes, but still have lots to learn.

Oo you’re a L&O fan? I really liked SVU and became addicted after a friend introduced it to me last year.

Lol Eragon and Happy Feet are both on my to-see list, looking forward to the screencaps!

Excellent. It’s important to enjoy school like that. I can relate to the whole loud music thing, since when I lived in an apartment with my family we had the same problem. Thing is, when we complained to them, nothing happened and they still did it. We just moved since the building owner didn’t do a thing about it either.
