Blogathon – New theme up! I was going for something simple, at first, but some how it turned out not to be as simple haha. It features Veronica Mars and me. If you look in Veronica’s camera you’ll see another Veronica in the camera … which would be me. Also used image rollovers which I ended up doing by “hand” which was easier then I thought. I wanted to it to look like the opening credits from season one and two, hence the “paper look”. Navigation is above, tried to keep the terms all “detective-y”. I hope the text for the blog isn’t too hard to read, I had it white in the background but it looked weird and I have been trying to edit it to where the text matches up with the lines of the paper. Anyways, I like it. Turned out how I wanted so yay, but feedback is always nice.
Today Anna Nicole Smith passed away in Florida. They don’t know exactly what happened, and hey I admit I was never a fan of her … but she was only 38, and JUST had a baby. Plus her son died the end of last year, I think it’s sad. I feel bad for the baby, especially since now they have to figure out who the father is since two men are claiming to be the father. So sad. This is a big shock. RIP Anna Nicole Smith! Nothing else to add to this blog, I think I’ll end it here

I absolutely love the new layout
I was so shocked when I heard about Anna Nicole Smith, she was really young. It is tragic, especially since she’d just had a child
The Veronica Mars theme is pretty neat. I have no clue as to what Veronica Mars is (some sort of TV show?), but it’s a really unique theme. As for the notepaper background problem, I had a theme like that a while back, and the only thing that worked was making the font size absolutely huge (20px or something) and setting the line height to 170%. Maybe if you found out exactly how tall the lines are you could try something, but keep, the larger sizes of headers and things like that will always mess it up if you don’t do tons of calculations to find out how many pixels high any one element is and how that will affect the lines.
I didn’t hear about that yet, so that’s news to me. I don’t particularly care about Anna herself, it’s sad that she died young, but I really feel bad for the child. Imagine what that’s going to be like to have stuff like your mother’s death and her having to have a paternity test to determine who your Dad was hanging over your head your entire life. Geez, poor kid. But she’ll probably be made a star for it, so it’s not that bad for her.

Hey, love the layout you know i’m an avid fan of veronica mars. Anyways, surpasshosting themselves suspended your site. I can’t unsuspend it since they won’t let me. Anyways, I can host it on my server but i can’t guarantee the uptime. Dont’ get me wrong it will be up i just dont’ want to say that it’ll have like a 99% uptime rate or whateva because i do manage my own servers.

I totally love your planned VM theme, but then again I’m biased because I’m a huge VM fan. I’ll be extremely nonplussed if that show ever went off the air.
I never really cared to hear anything about Anna Nicole Smith and her sad, bizarre circus life, but I’m always saddened (how can you not be, if you have an ounce of compassion in you) to hear about people dying at such at young age… and leaving behind children. Poor baby girl.
BTW, despair.nu has been offline for about a day now, but this you probably already know. The rotation code was causing errors on my site, so I had to temporarily remove it until Despair server is back on.
