RIP Chivalry?

by Veronica

Blogthon – So this afternoon I was watching the Rachel Ray show and it was about chivalry and whether or not it’s dead. So, do you think chivalry is dead? I’d say it’s “dead” in some guys, for the most part. In the show her guest went out on the town and would open doors for women, hold their bags, walk their luggage down the stairs for them etc. and it was amusing seeing the women’s reactions. All of them were shocked! I have to admit, when a guy holds a door open for me I do get a bit shocked especially if I do not know him. I have guy friends who sometimes do the whole holding the door open but that’s usually it. I have to say, the only good thing my ex-boyfriend did was hold the door open for me … all the time! A few years ago this guy that I was friends with, when we really didn’t know each other that much at first he didn’t do anything chivalry-ish but once we started becoming more friends and started to like each other I noticed he did it a lot more. So my final thoughts? Chivalry is not dead, it’s just hibernating in some guys.

So I began playing WoW today, I have to say … I like this game. I was rather amused when I discovered I could make my character dance and then this other character began dancing with me … it was so funny. Granted I kept dying a lot because it took me a few clicks to figure out how to fight haha. I also managed to break my weapon, oops. I plan on getting a lot out of the 10 day trial, and maybe in the future actually getting the game.

I should do a little bit of school work, then off to bed! I almost said “off with my head” but that’d be bad. Today was a pretty day, tomorrow it’s going to rain … 60 percent chance and the temperature is going to be about 70, meh. I hate Florida weather.

I agree that chivalry is not dead yet, but I would like to see some more of it. It’s indeed hibernating in some guys.

Oh, you remind me when I first started playing WoW a few years ago. I had no clue what it was, and I didn’t know much about games. WoW can be very addicting and I have heard some really sad stories. I consider myself as an addict, but I enjoy the game and nothing bad has happened yet :) What kind of character did you make? Btw if your weapon is broken you can just repair your equipment at some NPC (PC controlled character). If you have any questions about WoW I will gladly answer them.

Erf, I need to stop babbling and do some homework :)

Haha… I do that too (WoW), not in that game. But in other games, I’ll be playing with like my older brother, and he’ll be like come on fight!!! And I’ll be like lalalala… running around in circles. It’s much more entertaining to watch your character run around circle after circle then shooting things at my brother, at least that’s what I think. He disagrees. The fact that I’m terrible at shooting things at him is probably also a factor into me not wanting to even try. Haha…
Anywho, awesome site. :) Found you through Despair which is also an amazing project you’ve made. I’ve added you on MSN haha… :P *stalks* Lol jk. :) Okay This comment is getting rather long, I never leave comments this long……… Weird. Buh bye!

Speaking of dancing and WoW, maybe you’ll find this to be amusing….
