Flight to the Ford

Mmm the yummy Chinese food I ordered last night for dinner and for lunch today (and I still have some left). It’s nice to know there’s a tasty Chinese good place that delivers, makes me happy. Although, since it costs money and I don’t want to gain a million pounds I only order it every couple of months or so. Speaking of money, no one will hire me :( Saturday I plan on going to the mall and some other places and applying for a job because I really need one. I hate calling my mother every month asking for money for rent, I know she doesn’t mind since she knows I am trying to find a job and she’s happy I applied for financial aid (which is always nice) but still … I like paying for my own stuff.

We live in a day in age where everything has to be fast. Fast food, fast internet, microwavable everything, and anything else you can think of. Okay I admit, I love fast internet and being able to eat something that you threw in the microwave for a few minutes is nice too but I like to sit down and enjoy a meal as well. I like going to a restaurant to eat and relax with friends or family, or even “slaving” over the stove and making myself a yummy dinner. Today when Becca and I went grocery shopping we bought these awesome Betty Crocher meals, that you basically throw together and put in the oven for about an hour and they are SO GOOD. Tonight we are having chicken and dumplings, I can’t wait good stuff.

Right now I am adding some of my cd’s to my laptop, yay for more music. I should hit over 1,000 after I finish. How many songs are on your computer? Tomorrow sometime after class and what not Becca and I plan on walking around FSU campus mainly for exercise but we’ll see the campus from a different view rather than from the bus. Two weeks and I am out of school, ONLY 2 WEEKS. Yay.

Title = from LOTR soundtrack haha.

I love that kind of chinese food! =) When I was in the US, my aunt and I got that twice, also in those kind of containers and all ;)
We do have chinese food ordering things here too though, but I never order there. I only occasionally get Chinese food from a booth in the lunch break with a few friends. Chinese food is great. But what I love even more is Mexican food. Unfortuately we don’t have too much of that stuff here…

Strange as it is, I hate Chinese food, and Betty Crocker things, we have them here, I think, and I didn’t like it when I tried it. I have about 900 songs on my iPod and more on my computer because my sister leaves loads of rubbish on there. I really need to delete them.

Our two weeks are almost over now, too.

Ooh, I love Chinese food. I’m not to big of a fan of things you whip together and throw in the microwave- I prefer my meals cooked more traditionally xD

Songs on my computer? Hmm…205. More than I thought!

I really hope you are able to find a job – I can imagine it’s not great having to rely on you mum for these things, but hopefully something will come along very soon :)

Man, 1000 is quite a lot of songs, hehe, I just checked my iTunes and apparently I have 4143 songs on here, better than I thought.

Wow, it’s actually pretty interesting to see Sweet & Sour Chicken considering it’s what I had for dinner tonight. I’d been craving it for the last week before I could finally get my fix…lol.

I hope you’re able to find a job soon. It must really suck not being able to get anything coming in, financially, have you tried the local library and other little ‘unexpected’ employers? I’m sure you’ll be able to find something. Summer is coming up so hopefully you’ll be able to find something before all the little kids pile in for their summer cash. I wish you loads of luck with that.
