Penguins + When Nail Polish Attacks

A classic tale of boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back … except with penguins! A tale of romance, fun, and of course lots and lots drama! But in the end there’s a happy ending, naturally. Okay I have no idea, what I am trying to say is I have a new theme up that features penguins that are in love. I think it’s cute, made in photoshop well over a week ago but I kept changing my mind about it. I told myself I wasn’t allowed to blog until I finished coding it though. Some pages may look weird when using this theme, I need to go through all content that is not directly in wordpress and use it in a wordpress page.

Use this skin?

So I am sitting here innocently with my friend (also my roommate) and she’s trying to open a bottle of nail polish. I tried to open it without any luck and so did she. Randomly I hear BANG and she starts laughing. The top of the nail polish container flew off (the top where the glass is broke) and now she is on my floor cleaning it up haha. She got some on my chair, my floor, herself, carpet, and some on my suitcase. We have this awesome cleaning stuff though, which she is using now. This happened while she is/was cleaning.

Becca: What are you doing?
Me: *laughs evilly and continues typing*
Becca: Are you typing about this?!
Me: Yes *laughs* you did this at the same time I was blogging haha.

So funny. Looks like she killed someone, since she has some of it on her hand and it was a deep magenta-ish color (okay well it was a nice color but I can’t describe it well).

“Can you google how to remove nail polish from carpet?” – That’s so comforting.

Is My Wii Haunted?

So, I am innocently sitting on the nice comfy couch on the living room playing my laptop. I began hearing this weird happy-go-lucky almost whimsical sound. I looked at my phone and noticed it was on silent, and it was not coming from my music. I glance on the floor and stare at my Wii only to notice it was some how on …

I walked up to the Wii, shut it off and I could still hear the sound. I unplugged it just in case haha. I listened, muted my music, and began moving to find the noise. It was coming from out side, and I think it may have been the ice cream man. So thank you Mr. Ice Cream Man for giving me a heart attack and thinking my Wii had a ghost in it! I feel very silly saying this, but I will never look at Wii Chan (yes, I named my wii “wii chan” haha) the same way again!

I also had a quick question. When you are out and you walk by strange people you do not know, do you smile at them? If not, do you smile if they smile at you? I only ask this because I went to the grocery store earlier today to buy things for dinner tonight (made my mother creamy chicken lasagna, salad, root beer floats, garlic bread, and cookies … yes I know, I AM an awesome daughter) and while shopping I noticed that if I ever had eye contact with someone walking past me I smiled. They did too. One guy when I walked by him the first time he smiled at me, so I smiled back. I saw him again and the same thing happened. I always thinks it’s nice to just give a quick simple smile, nothing flashy. Your thoughts? Lastly, I added a plug board (go plug your site!) and a review section (submit your site or someone else’s up for review) mainly out of boredom :)

Spyware

Spyware is one of the most annoying things that can happen to anyone who uses a computer. My worst, and most recent, experience was about a week ago.

I was innocently playing on the computer when weird messages began to appear. Somehow some malicious program ended up on my computer and the only way to remove it was to use something to sweep for it on your computer or to do it manually. Now I tried manually and failed, clearly, and instead went with the route of using a program to find it. I’ve had Spy Sweeper on my laptop for a while now, I ran the program and sure enough it found what was making my laptop wonky and removed it. After that the errors I was having were now gone. I ran the program a few more times to make sure, and everything was working perfectly :) Removing it didn’t take long either, took a few minutes to scan my system and then the next thing I knew my laptop was normal again. I highly recommend Spy Sweeper!
