Is It Over Yet? Please?

by Veronica

The semester is nearing an end, and honestly I have been wanting it all to be over weeks ago! My finals are next week and I only have 3, because one of my professors decided 7:30AM was way too early to take an exam so we are having it this Friday instead and then we have to turn in a take home essay before next week is over. Works for me. Granted my vampire exam is at 7:30 as well so that still sucks!

I am waiting for my next class to start, my Slavic Vampire class. Actually …. I am in it now and I think we are watching a movie. I love movie days :) Although I have no idea what it is … I think. It may be Blade since we’ve talked about that some or it could even be Interview With a Vampire since we read a different Anne Rice book recently. I feel so out of the loop, watch … we won’t even watch a movie now haha! Edit: We’re only watching 10 minutes of Blade, oh well! But we are learning about Slayers and have already discussed buffy so woot.

Enough of boring babble. WHEN DID IT BECOME DECEMBER?! Seriously. I mean sure I am not complaining but wow, time flies. And now it’s time for the typical December question: What do YOU want for Christmas/Holidays?

For me, I had a hard time thinking. I gave my mother a small list since she’s been helping me pay for stuff since I have moved (didn’t seem right to ask for a lot, even though my mother doesn’t mind but I do!). But the big item that I would like is a new phone! I am waiting until probably January (so it can be a Christmas/birthday gift) or maybe even a few months after. I even organized my Amazon wishlist into categories for my friends haha. Here are the items I told my mother I would like:

  • Bathrobe
  • Jurassic Park DVD Set (or just the first Jurassic Park)
  • Blueberry Candy Canes
  • Disney DVDs
    • Aladdin
    • Alice in Wonderland
    • Lion King
    • Beauty & The Beast
  • Plus anything random (clothes, shoes, etc).

My mom is good at picking things out that I like, which is fine with me! Since last week will be marking the end of the school semester that means I’ll be working more plus have more time for site stuff, I have a few smallish project ideas that I have started to work on slowly :) Hopefully I actually do them …

I can’t wait for this term/semester to end, it’s been dragging for too long now.

Hope you’re able to get those things that are on your list,I haven’t madea list because I hate asking people for things lol. Jurrasic Park rocks ^_^

Good luck on your finals, my dear! Mine finish this Saturday and I’m so happy! :)

I know, I agree that time flies so fast. One moment it is summer and the next it is winter and there is a wind chill factor! Next thing we know it, semester two will be over as well..

That’s a nice list of gifts! Hope you get everything you ask for or at least most of it. ;)

That gift list sounds awesome. I’m a total Disney whore so I obviously approve of the DVD list you requested. :D Hope that you get everything you wish for!
I am equally stunned that it is already December. This time next year, I’ll be teaching English in China. I gotta get a move on, exams coming up soon and I can’t flunk them if I want to get into the universities I’m applying for this year! Erk! *worries* Hope you’ve been doing well and good luck with the coming months – they’ll be here before you know it!

This is very random and a little rude of me, but could I have the “questionable” screencaps? You’re a lifesaver!

You’re really in a Slavic Vampire class? That sounds like one of the coolest classes ever.

    I can’t really think of anything I want… I love Disney DVDs too. :)

I cannot believe it’s Christmas time either! It was like just yesterday we were celebrating the new year! I guess it’s true that they say college days fly by! =/ I am asking for Disney DVD’s as well! Ya know, got to get them before they close the almighty vault! Lol. I hope you do great on your exams and have an awesome holiday!

It can’t be christmas already, it’s crazy it’s too early. Plus it’s not hot enough yet!
I want Aladdin and Beauty and The Beast. It’s way too much fun watching movies I used to watch over and over again when I was little to watch again now.

Plus that class sounds awesome? Talking about Buffy in class? Awesome.
