Oh, June.

by Veronica

Edit @1:00AM: Finished the joined/collection/thingy page which is located here. I am hoping to integrate it into Wordpress but had trouble doing so, found some “fixes” on google but none of them worked. So it has it’s own layout for now. At least closing tonight at work went well. Yay.

First off, if you use Netrillium, have used them, know someone who does etc. you may want to check out Jem’s latest article about them.

In other news I can’t believe it’s almost June, months seem to go by much faster when I am not in school. Plus the 1st is around the corner which means rent is due (ick) which is never fun. My hours at work are about the same, I get roughly 25 a week which stinks but it’s better than nothing. I know once back-to-school starts I’ll get a lottt more hours since at Target we’ll need 3-4 people in most sections (I wasn’t there last year for it, but apparently it was crazy busy). Gas prices are still going up (what else is new?), and now it’s predicted they’ll hit 5-6 in the states …. oh joy. I am going home at the end of June and just to fill my tank is $50+ (I drive a Camry), I couldn’t imagine what it’d be if I had a larger car.

Also in an attempt to make some extra cash I am going to try and sell my old school books on Amazon, I have some friends that have done that and I have 6 so far that I can sell and more that I need to gather from home. Extra cash is always nice!

Site wise I am working on added a little collective of fanlistings I have joined and possibly ones I may open, I am not sure yet. Still have to finish uploading all of the screencaps, if you need any of them now you can email me and I’ll send you a zip file of the movie caps. I’m also editing my wii page which is why it looks weird and I also added a new ask me page. The changes will come over the next week (editing pages, uploading the rest of the files I have left, etc) as well as the changes I want to make to Despair.nu of course I work all closing shifts this weekend so I won’t be able to do the changes until after I get home (which is around 11) or before work. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! Next time I blog, it won’t be this boring hah.

It;s already June here now! I can’t believe how quick May has gone by. I have two domain names hosted by Netrillium, I am going to try and transfer one of then but my nu name I can’t. I wish I never signed up with them now I am hearing such bad things about them. Good luck with the site changes and with work.

Money issues are so frustrating. I hate how everything is getting more and more expensive. I’m so glad that I live on a bus route so I don’t have to pay for gas.

  4. Gas prices are completely ridiculous. It costs my mom $60-$70 just to fill up her van. Its going to come to a time where we just can’t afford to drive. Hopefully once Bush is out of office things will start to get a lot better. I’m not blaming everything on Bush either, our whole congress is fucked up.

Sad thing is, I knew folks formerly hosted on Netrillium, while it was still good, and they tried to get me to move to them. Then, right before I was about to move, they had a bucketload of trouble and I decided not to go there after all. So glad I didn’t.

Oh yes, talk about those gas prices. I can’t believe I have to deal with that stuff when I drive. Hopefully you’ll get more money soon.

I’ve heard nothing, but bad things about netrillium. I’m not sure what it is about their site, but it screams UNPROFESSIONAL to me. lol. I wouldn’t ever go with them.

The gas prices are just a few cents from reaching the 4 dollar point. Oh, and that’s just for unleaded. Premium and Plus are well over 4 bucks. I remember about a month ago, it took 20 bucks to fill my tank. The other day, I put 20 in, and it didn’t even fill it up. Gah, I’m dying over here too!!

25 hours? Gah. I’m barely even getting 20. In fact, I get lucky if I even make 15 hours a week. My job really sucks.

the article jem wrote about netrillium
is very disturbing. I’ve had issues
with them that’s why I moved hosting
providers. however, I still have 3 domains
stuck with them at enom :/

oh well, gas prices are going up
    everywhere. I guess it’s a good thing
I don’t have my motorbike yet XD

yep, june is here! and I hope it will
    fly (:

I’m still in Uni but time really does fly. I can’t believe we’re already half way in 2008, but 2007 also seems such a long time ago. Getting old, I guess…

Also, Despair is the best. Thanks for the great work! :D

Time seems to be flying straight past me whatever I’m doing! I honestly wish I knew where it was scrambling to – so as to pull it back! ;-)

Extra cash sounds good – I wish I had a way of doing that! Unfortunately I don’t own my school books, so can’t really go off selling them!

Ah, I know. At the start of the year I was like, yeah, this year’s going to be really long. But now it’s already half way through June!

My school has this second-hand book thing, where you put in your books and they sell them for you. But they get 25% of the money.
