I’ve been using Twitter for a few weeks now and I like it. But recently at Snark someone posted a topic about something like Twitter, but a bit more to it. It’s called Plurk and I am now hooked on it. It’s a little confusing at first but it’s pretty easy once you get use to it. I love being able to comment on what people are doing/saying/etc (unlike Twitter you have to do the whole @username thing and it shows up in your own feed). I can defintly say I am a new fan of Plurk and I am now not using Twitter as much, oh well 
I even applied to open a fanlisting about it, haha. If you have a Plurk account feel free to add me, my username is veroicone.
In other news I drove home today, the drive wasn’t too bad (even though it’s 3 hours, ick). But tomorrow I am going on another trip, flying to Tennessee to visit family that I have not seen in years (going with my mom). I’m pretty excited and it should be a lot of fun! I also have a laptop, cell phone, nintendo ds, and ipod to amuse myself in the airport and plane which should help with my boredom. I’ll be coming back home on Tuesday or Wednesday with my sister and her husband … in a car. Being in a car with my sister (whom is pregnant btw), her husband and their dog Brinkley for 8+ hours is going to suck. Once again I’ll have those lovely gadgets to amuse myself. I also plan on taking my camera so I can take lots and lots of photos.
Online wise, Despair.nu is still being lame to say the least. My host is looking into some of the errors but hasn’t gotten back to me yet. I am hoping to fix the double emails and database errors soon I know members are fed up with it, as am I! Hopefully over the next few weeks it’ll all be fixed, I hope. Content wise here I am still getting some of the screencaps uploaded (most should work now though) hopefully all will be finished soon.

Good-bye Twitter, hello Plurk! I love how trends spread so quickly. I’ve never tried Twitter nor Plurk since I’m too lazy to set things up, but I could give it a try.

I hate driving long distances, I just go insaaaane. And my legs cramp up. Good luck with yours.

Normally I sleep on road trips as I use to get really bad car sickness when I was little now that Im the one driving its not so bad to be in a car for 10+ hours.. But yay for stuff to do on your flight/car ride home..
I have twitter and I barley use it unless I need to vent or say I blogged lol.. I don’t get why people need to post everything and anything on those ..

Ooh… a fellow Plurk fan! *lol* Yeah, Plurk can get pretty addicting. Some people come up with funny/witty and interesting updates. I added you to my Plurk (trainunderwater) already. =)

I also didn’t like the @username reply feature in Twitter, but I’m too used to it now. The “is”, “loves”, “wishes”, etc. in Plurk can be changed to whatever you want, right?

I think I’m about the only person who doesn’t like Plurk at all – it’s the timeline thing that bugs me. Think I’ll be sticking to Twitter.

I think I’ll switch to Plurk if more of my friends on Twitter do. I’m confused about all the says, thinks and stuff. I like how I can just blab whatever in Twitter.
