I had a lovely time at home, and the flight to Tennessee went well. It was lovely seeing everyone in my family (haven’t seen them in 4 years). There was also a nice family and close friend baby shower for my sister, which was so cute. I was only in TN from Saturday-Tuesday, Tuesday I drove home (all 10 hours, ew) with my sister, her husband, and my sister’s dog. The drive wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, the time actually went by quickly which may have had to do with the fact that we stopped … a lot (well my sister is 6 months pregnant soo). I was also shocked my ipod didn’t die.

I was home from Tuesday night to Monday (my mom didn’t fly back from TN until Saturday). While I was home alone I didn’t do anything productive at all, it was nice. I laid about with my dog, took him on a walk, and mainly stayed in (it rained the whole time, of course). Saturday I picked my mother up from the airport and later that night we went shopping (woo). Sunday we had to go to the Apple store to get my macbook pro looked at (part of my computer was bent which made it hard to put a cd in it) and while there we renewed my warranty another two years and also picked up a copy of THE SIMS 2 (I am oh so addicted to it). After that we shopped around some more.

Drove back to Tallahassee on Monday, left around 2 and it was STORMING. I couldn’t see anything so I turned back around and went back home haha. I stayed until around 4:45ish and left again, and it only rained for about 5 minutes and even then it was just sprinkles. I have this problem per-say with taking a photo when I drive home or drive to Tallahassee, which is the picture on the left. Click on image for a larger view. I am going back home again from the 11th-14th for my sister’s baby shower which is being thrown by one of her friends. Should be a lot of fun (I am filling up a basket of goodies, like glothes, books, other baby things) and my father, step-mom, and little brother will be visiting us that night and taking us out to dinner (haven’t seen them in maybe 2 years?). So that should be nice.

I am working all weekend (of course!) but hopefully I’ll get some updates in order for the site (especially some new themes). I also get paid tonight which is always lovely (although since I was off of work for 2 weeks it will barely be a $50 paycheck heh). I was going to post some photos of my dog from when I was home, but I’ll make another post about it in a few days or something. This post is already boring, why clutter it with photos? I also saw Wall-E last night, wow I LOVED IT. I highly reccommend it, the movie was so adorable and just all around enjoyable.

Lastly, the usual section that I work at in Target is where the candles are at. I always love smelling them and trying to pick one or two out for my room, but yet I haven’t for one reason or another. But I happened uppon a little contest where someone can be two lovely candles for simply leaving a comment. Teresa is giving away two 8oz soy candles by Jess, over at her personal blog. She can ship anywhere, so everyone is encouraged to participate.
