Of course I had the “brilliant” idea to upgrade Wordpress before I blogged … .why?! In fact I am typing this in Word while I wait for the files to finish uploading. Mainly because I am uploading them a second time because it failed halfway through the first time. And of course it failed once again *head desk* and I am not having to use FireFTP to upload everything.

I typed this earlier in the week (Tuesday) when I attempted to upgrade wordpress (internet went buggy when I tried to do it at the apartment, couldn’t access Blissful.nu at all), now I am home and clearly I have upgraded. And what message did I see on my dashboard as I was about to blog “Update to Wordpress 6.1” … I believe I literally did a head desk when I read that. But since I am home I went ahead and updated. So yay for updating, boo for stress from doing so 
I am home until Sunday night, which is nice. My mother went to a wedding so I came home (Wednesday night) to watch the house and my dog, but mostly my dog.I honestly do not want to go back to Tallahassee because I love being home! Plus school starts soon and that isn’t fun. If you’re going to be in school, when do you start? I start the 25th of this month ?
I am enjoy my few days off and brought a bunch of stuff with me such as dvds and my wii (including the Wii Fit! Which I honestly haven’t done much :3). I watched The Little Mermaid earlier, which is one of my favorite Disney movies. Also so happens to be the first movie I saw in theaters (I was almost 4), I of course do not remember this but my silly mother and grandparents recorded my trip to the mall to see the movie (oh how I wish I was kidding). I always wanted to trade places with Ariel, she can take my human-ness and I’ll take her mermaid-ness any day! Anyone know any good Sea Witches? I need to complete my Disney DVD collection though, my must gets are: Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin and tons more. So far I only have The Little Mermaid and Cinderella when it comes to the princesses of Disney (and Mulan 2, does she count?). What are some of your favorite Disney movies?
In other news (I say that a lot), I am editing bits and pieces of the site. I took down the screencaps, I am setting up different pages with zips files for the captures because uploading all of them is taking way too long. In the future, if I find a script or something else I like I’ll use it but until then, yay for zips. I am also working on coding a new theme. Despair.nu is back as well (yay) and will be getting a new layout soonish! Which makes me happy. Still editing content here and there on this site, so there may be some 404’s for a while. I don’t really have anything fascinating to say, other than expect another blog in a day or so … basically out of pure boredom! Woo!

Upgrading WordPress can be trying. I finally installed an automatic upgrade plug-in which works wonders.

I apologize for not commenting before. Things have been a bit … hectic to say the least. My favorite Disney movie is Robin Hood. Don’t know why but it is and always has been. After that is Alice in Wonderland.
Also wanted to comment on The Dark Knight. LOVED IT. Everything about it was amazing. It was like the best movie ever made lol. And I so wanted to jump the Joker. Heath Ledger did an awesome job.

I think most of our first movies were Disney movies,mine was the Lion King.I was like 3 and ever since then thats been the all time favorite disney movie,but they destroyed it in sequels..I loved Mulan-didn’t like the sequel..I liked the Little Mermaid songs..and I did my hair like Jasmine did from Aladdin..The Aristocats!!I love Dutchess she looked exactly like my first pet.and Tarzan was good,except a little kid was yelling during the movie when we saw it..Brother Bear was good too!(is a disney kid)
I go back to univesity the 24th(move in) classes start the 27th..but it may be last semster there..hopefully anyway.
I still haven’t FULLY upgraded wordpress-I figure I will sooner or later..but I just tend ot blog,approve and run off..

I hear ya about upgrading… it takes a lot more time then expected. Collecting the updated/upgraded Disney movies is a big task because there’s just so many of them! I still love Cinderella as my all favorite time as well!

The Little Mermaid is so sweet. The first movie I remember seeing in theaters is The Lion King which is still one of my favourites. I also love Lilo and Stitch and Finding Nemo. I loved Cinderella when I was little, too.

Ouch, updating to only have to update again sucks big time. FIU started the 25th too, and so far there’s nothing even remotely interesting about any of my classes. Hope it’s better for you.

I finally upgraded Wordpress the other day as well, only to find an Automatic Wordpress Upgrade plugin afterwards. I’ve installed that now and am awaiting the next upgrade, BRING IT ON =D
Beauty and the Beast is by faarr always my favourite. I’d like to start a Disney movie collection too, you can never be too old to enjoy the classics.

ugh i hate any kind of upgrading. I always mess something up.. Last time i messed up the whole forum.. so i had to delete and re up again.. needless to say i lost lots of members :/

I am always really scared of updating wordpress, because I feel like I will do something wrong and mess up everything.
I have a full Disney collection in books and tapes, because I loved them when I was younger. Are you collecting DVDs or tapes? Because if you want tapes then I can sell you a couple of the ones that you are wanting.

Why don’t you just get the files you want to upload zipped in a file, upload that file to your server, then unzip it there? ;) I’m personally using FireFTP myself, and I’ve never had any problems before. Perhaps, for one reason or another, FTP have something against you. :p
Have you noticed that you probably need some updating once again, this time to 2.6.2? Haha! WP2.7′s ETA is on November, and it has some great new features. Sometimes I think I should only update during major upgrades to save myself some time and effort, unless, of course, it’s a security and mandatory update.
I’ve been on AWOL in my university to take care of my brother. I would have been still in school, then go on a semestral break for about a month on October. I fool myself into thinking I don’t miss school, but really, I do.
We have the same favorite. I love Little Mermaid as well, and Mulan too, of course. Hercules is also a good animated movie; it made me tear up a little. Mostly I lean towards the Disney-Pixar collaborations nowadays, because they really are very nice.
There are a couple of screencap gallery scripts you can use, although the only one I can remember is Captivate. I’m sure you can also find a few WP plugins.

LOL. Upgrading wordpress is a pain in the ass. But then again, what can you do when you want to keep Wordpress secure and safe, yanno? lol.
The little mermaid has always been one of my favorite movies.

I always dread upgrading Wordpress. I never seem to be able to do it without trouble or confusion, haha. Kudos to you though for making the effort. I sometimes don’t do it until a new version has come out. ;p
Hope things are going well for you at University. I started back on September 4th. It was all right, but things have already started picking up. Seems like yesterday that I started!
My favourite Disney movie is a toss between Aladdin and Mulan. I used to watch both quite a bit when I was younger, although the other day I had an urge to watch Aladdin.

I still haven’t gotten around to updating WordPress. I think I still have 2.5 installed on my blog. Can you skip the releases in between and just install the latest?
My favorite Disney movie is Sleeping Beauty. For one thing, the prince actually has a name (unlike in Cinderella and Snow White) and he is more than just a pretty face. LOL. Then I have The Little Mermaid and Aladdin tied for second place. Then Mulan.

About upgrading to Wordpress, I have heard a lot of people had complications with it. I had never upgraded before so I was extremely nervous because of this but mine worked like a charm. It’s weird how that works out. Little Mermaid ftw, also. Ha ha!

I’ve been meaning to buy Wii Fit because I want to get in shape and I’m not one to go to gyms because I get bored easily, especially if I’m alone.
I LOVE Disney movies, my favorite Disney movie is Aladdin. I wanted to be Jasmine growing up, I think I dressed up like her for a couple of years on Halloween, hehe. I have a lot of Disney movies on VHS, I need to buy them in DVD

Argh, I hate upgrading Wordpress. It always takes so long to re-upload everything. This last time, I kept putting off upgrading to 2.6.1 and when I finally did, I opened my dashboard to see “you need to upgrade to 2.6.2″. X_X
