Tuesday morning I was innocently playing on my computer surfing youtube and watching some videos, when randomly my screen went glitchy. The last time this happened I was playing World of Warcraft. My laptop froze and when I forced shut down and shut it back on the screen basicaly told me it had to restart, which I did. But it said it again and again and again. I gave up and called Apple Support where a very nice guy helped me. He walked me through quite a few steps but nothing helped, 40 minutes later we tried everything. He gave me my case number so that I can schedule an appoinment with Apple to get my computer fixed.
Sadly, this won’t happen until next weekend when I go home (there’s not an apple store here). So I am computer-less for a little over a week (right now I am in the computer lab at the apartment complex I live in). Of course this had to happen just DAYS before World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King comes out! I have a copy on reserve, and will pick it up anyways tomorrow at work … even though I am unable to play it
I still have my cell phone so I can surf the net that way, but that is very limited. Of course this also happened the week that I got new ideas for Despair.nu … perfect timing
On the bright side I bought Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Galaxy at work when we had the buy 2 get 1 free so I have those to amuse myself! Already played Brandy on Wi-Fi with Mario Kart – so fun!

I did the mail in ballot since I am away for school, which was nice since the only line I had to wait in was at the Post Office
(mailed it on Halloween). I am sure people are tired of hearing about the election, but oh well. It is definetly one that will be remembered and I am excited to see who wins. In case you wondered, I voted for Obama. I agreed with a lot of his points and ideas, so we’ll see how it goes
If you voted, you don’t have to comment and state who you voted for if you are not comfortable with doing so, same goes if you can’t vote but still want/don’t want to mention who you would vote for.
