It’s about 15 or so minutes after midnight which means, it’s 2009! I had a good year in 2008, so hopefully 2009 goes just as well. I always make new years resolutions but I never keep them, so I am not going to bother haha. I’ll attempt the standard “save money, lose weight, do well in school” and hopefully 2/3 of those happen heh. Do you have a New Year’s Resolution? If so, what is it? I tried in both 2007 and 2008 to do a 365 picture a day thing, but failed both times 
The new year marks a new semester at FSU, ew. Classes start on Tuesday and I wish they didn’t, I want my holiday to be longer! On the bright side, I will FINALLY be taking art classes which means I am that much closer to getting my major in graphic design. Here is my class schedule:
Monday/Wednesday
- 2D Foundations @ 9:05am-11:35am
- Drawing Foundations @ 12:50pm-3:20pm
- Studio Art Practices @ 4:00pm-5:30pm
On the bright side, no classes Tuesday, Thursday and Friday which is great because my availabilty for work on those days is all day and if I go home I can stay for a few days (such as when I go home on my birthday, January 17th!). Hopefully I enjoy the classes as much as I think I will
Today was a lazy day. Went shopping and while at work (Target) I bought House S4 since it was on sale (used part of the giftcard I got for xmas to buy it) and also bought a cute Yoshi figuireine since it was on clearance for $1.98 (picture to the left). There was also a few others (mario, lugi, bullet bil) which I may get if they go on clearance any cheaper 
One thing I wanted to have done before January 1st was the revamp of Despair.nu, but with the internet going wonky and such that didn’t happen. Hopefully by the end of January I’ll be done cleaning out the members. Also plan on working on this domain too, I still have quite a few pages I want to add. Heh, I guess working on my domains can be my resolution!

I would have blogged on Christmas Day, but I was too busy playing/watching my presents and just generally being lazy I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas/Holiday/etc. I went home Wednesday night right after work (got to my sister’s house at around 10pm, it’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive) and once her husband was able to get away from work (he was on duty [cop]) we opened presents.
My poor little nephew was crying and generally fussy the whole time because he was rather tired, but was forcing himself to stay awake to see what was going on. Opened presents on Christmas Eve since my mom was flying to Tennessee to visit family on Christmas Day and she thought I’d have to go back to Tally on Christmas Day (I ended up getting Friday off, so I drove home earlier today). My mom felt bad for leaving me, but it’s okay Anyways, so here’s what I got

Overall I had a nice Christmas, so what did you get? Or what was your main present you got? My birthday is coming up January 17th, which I love because what I don’t get for Christmas I just ask for my birthday haha. Lastly, thanks for the comments on the new layout! Glad people like it, still tweaking some things here and there though.
New layout is entitled Love Birds and it is something I made back in April but never finished coding it. With help from Snark members I finished the layout itself and coded it … granted it’s 8 months later, but oh well. I may edit the theme here and there though, but until then here it is. I also upgraded to Wordpress 2.7 and I really like it, however, the theme switcher plugin I was using no longer works (I know there’s a way to do it through php so I may try that instead of a plugin) so until then this is only the theme that works … I hope. I also went through and edited a lot of the site as well, and since I have a new layout up I went ahead and listed my site on Rev.iew.me Please let me know what you think of the layout, any errors/problems you see, or any other comments you have on it. One thing I know I may change is the divider, I am not quite sure about the tulips and the grass.
Right now I am at home (blogging at almost 2am no less) and am going back to Tallahassee tomorrow, or rather later. I’ve only been here since Saturday and I am sad to go back so soon (came in because my mother and I were going to watch my baby nephew for my sister and her husband so they could celebrate their annivesary). During this time I learned Aidan (2 month old nephew) is more easily amused than I am. At one point he began to fuss and my laptop was on and my screensaver kicked on, he was enhralled. At one point I was holding him so he could stare blankly into my flashy-colorful-moving screensaver.
