It’s about 15 or so minutes after midnight which means, it’s 2009! I had a good year in 2008, so hopefully 2009 goes just as well. I always make new years resolutions but I never keep them, so I am not going to bother haha. I’ll attempt the standard “save money, lose weight, do well in school” and hopefully 2/3 of those happen heh. Do you have a New Year’s Resolution? If so, what is it? I tried in both 2007 and 2008 to do a 365 picture a day thing, but failed both times 
The new year marks a new semester at FSU, ew. Classes start on Tuesday and I wish they didn’t, I want my holiday to be longer! On the bright side, I will FINALLY be taking art classes which means I am that much closer to getting my major in graphic design. Here is my class schedule:
Monday/Wednesday
- 2D Foundations @ 9:05am-11:35am
- Drawing Foundations @ 12:50pm-3:20pm
- Studio Art Practices @ 4:00pm-5:30pm
On the bright side, no classes Tuesday, Thursday and Friday which is great because my availabilty for work on those days is all day and if I go home I can stay for a few days (such as when I go home on my birthday, January 17th!). Hopefully I enjoy the classes as much as I think I will
Today was a lazy day. Went shopping and while at work (Target) I bought House S4 since it was on sale (used part of the giftcard I got for xmas to buy it) and also bought a cute Yoshi figuireine since it was on clearance for $1.98 (picture to the left). There was also a few others (mario, lugi, bullet bil) which I may get if they go on clearance any cheaper 
One thing I wanted to have done before January 1st was the revamp of Despair.nu, but with the internet going wonky and such that didn’t happen. Hopefully by the end of January I’ll be done cleaning out the members. Also plan on working on this domain too, I still have quite a few pages I want to add. Heh, I guess working on my domains can be my resolution!

It’s great when you’re able to take the classes for what you’re actually majoring in. I hate those incoherent courses like Music and Fitness Awareness, lol. Have a great new year and good luck with your resolutions!

I do not do any resolutions. I just look forward to having a better year than the previous. Awesome classes. Sounds like a decent schedule. I am working on my Bachelors in e-business. When I get halfway through it, I am taking up Graphic Design. I already have the web design certification behind me. I take my courses online.

I learned a looooong time ago that I have NO stamina for New Years Resolutions, so I try not to make them. I only set myself up for disappointment.
You can tell a true blogger when they wait at the computer for the new year so that they can submit an entry… lol. Happy new year to you, too!
Those are classes sound awesome. What’s the studio art one about? My boyfriend is in an art program at college so I kinda know what you’re talking about, lol.

Happy new year, Naco! I haven’t really ever made resolutions because I just know I wouldn’t be able to keep them. Like I wrote on my blog, I’d go with “live life as I live it” and be done with it.
School starts early in the Philippines as well (today, in fact, Monday). Long vacations are great while they last. Your classes sound awesome. Good luck with them. On to that most coveted graphic design major!

Wow, you start back early! :o I don’t head back to college until the 26th (yay! :D) although most folks I know are back around the 12th. I think I’ve pretty much given up on New Year’s resolutions, although I always make up new ones as I go along (and fail, predictably enough :P). Those classes sound pretty fun, though, and Yoshi is awesomely adorable!

I never make resolutions. The idea of starting something on 1.1.XX blows my mind. Why do I need to start fresh on that particular day? Can’t I just decide that today I want to do something new?
I did, however, put my mind to finally re-design my radio show’s web design. I’m pretty excited about that, and it was so easy to put it together the way I did (I am about to blog about it actually LOL) that I may put a fresh look at The Dead End!
Lol, I don’t make resolutions either. What’s the point in making yourself do something at the beginning of a new year when you have been procrastinating that shit for the past few? xD
my resolutions are pretty much the same as yours. But i think i’m really gonna try and lose that 10-20lbs, lol now that im sans bf.
