There’s nothing like waking up a little before 8am, getting ready for class, going all the way to class only to find that’s canceled. My 2D Foundations class was supposed to be at 9:05am, I got there about 15+ minutes before and was sitting outside the classroom with another girl. Since I knew my professor has been sick lately I checked my school email on my laptop only to find it was canceled. Great. My next class was at 12:50 (I am actually in class right now but waiting for it to start :P). It’s safe to say I was bored out of my mind. I did the following:

• Checked my email
• Worked on the member list clean out at Despair.nu
• Played some WoW
• Posted on Plurk and Twitter
• Went to the vending machine downstairs to get a snack and drink
• Played more WoW
• Twitter + plurk again
• …. I think you get the idea.

At one point I went to the library because I figured it’d be comfier sitting in a chair at a nice desk than on the floor in one of the buildings waiting for class. If you’ve ever had a canceled class or some other event, what did you do to amuse yourself?

On the bright side, I have the professor again after my drawing class which means that class is canceled too :D! So I’ll get home a little after 3:30 rather than after 5:30 But I still wish I knew it was canceled before I woke up Lastly, thank you for the belated birthday wishes I still don’t feel 23 … but I guess I don’t look it either so that works out

January 17th marked my 23rd birthday, I feel old now … but at least I do not look it (people always seem to think I am 17/18). I had a great birthday minu waking up this morning and being sick (boo). Thanks for the birthday wishes via calls, texts, Snark, plurk, twitter, and texts! I would have blogged on my actual birthday, but the server was down most of the day so oh well. And just moments ago I typed up an entire blog and for some reason it didn’t post … thanks.

Thursday I celebrated it with friends, the gift from my friends Becca and Brittany was a whole new outfit! THAT I LOVE (I’ll post pictures later, I forgot my camera cord). After shopping we went out to dinner, and was joined by a friend from work and her boyfriend and also my boyfriend. We ate at Chili’s and the food was great! And they sang to me, so I got icecream woot. The boyfriend bought me computer parts so now my desktop runs much faster and can now run WoW a lot better and he also got me Spore to play too

My new phone I love it

I came home Friday and once my mother got home from work, we went to T-Mobile to get myself a new phone! All of the Samsung phones are on sale, so the one I got was only $50 but we got a $50 mail in rebate so all we paid for was the tax I ended up getting the Samsung Gravity in grey/green, and I love it. I’ve heard some complaints about the call quality and battery life, but both are great for me The battery life could be better, but it doesn’t bother me. I love the keyboard and the color I got (there’s also a blue/white version, but the whole city was sold out), since most people are getting the other color mine will be a bit more unique.

Yesterday my mom made me a Snickers ice cream cake, and some people came over From my mom I also got GUITAR HERO! SO FUN. My friend Melissa and I kept playing it Now all I need to get is the drumset and microphone since it came with 2 guitars. Overrall I had a lovely birthday, minus getting sick. I’ll also be home until Tuesday since classes are cancelled on Monday for holiday W00t. I just hope I start feeling better before I go back
