Spring semester is coming to an end and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t SUPER excitied. Although I enjoyed my first semester as an official art student I am so ready for a break. I kept meaning to blog but with art projects, work, and spending time with friends and famiy (went home for Easter, had a blast! My nephew is 6 months old now and getting so big! Last time I saw him he was only 3 months. My boyfriend came with me and met my family, which went well). I also have a new idea for a layout but I am waiting to work on it until classes end Wednesday, so I don’t distract myself any futher :P

I also finally hit the max leve in WoW, 80. Which is nice. *quits* … now that would suck. In other news, I am taking 3D foundations over the summer which starts May 11th and ends June 19th or so. In August I am moving out of my current apartment and going home for a few weeks until I can move into my new place with Becca on August 18th, so excited to go home for that long! After classes I’ll spend most of my time working as well. I’m so happy to be leaving my current apartment, the office is crap, the guys below are always loud and me and my friends are just sick of it!

I’ve been rethinking about what I want to do with Despair.nu, it expires in Novemember and even though I do not want to I may just let it die. I am not as into the site as I was when it first started and neither are the members, which I know is partically my fault. I am still not positive though, however, I will back up the entire script and maybe open something similar in the future. Drawing class is starting soon so I suppose I should stop. I am hoping to over the summer work on this site more, I thought of moving my personal site to a new domain because of how expensive .nu’s are but as long as they don’t go up on price anymore I should be fine :P Plus I love this domain name! What are your plans over break? I’d love to go to the beach as well at some point, just to relax and enjoy myself (and bring my dog with me when I go home!).

Edit: Despair may not be dying after all :) Going to brainstorm some ideas with others and see what we can come up with! But may have to close it until then though, we’ll see.

    Oh, don’t close Despair! I remember joining there like, a looong way back, even though I went on a long hiatus.

    You sound like you’ve been super productive. Glad you got to see your family and introduce your boyfriend. :)

    Man, the beach sounds great. I can’t wait until the weather warms up!

    Level 80, congrats! I only made it to level 20 before I gave up on the game, haha.

    P.S. Don’t close despair! I’ve met a lot of great people/blogs because of it :)

    I don’t mind helping you out with Despair – so many people don’t commit properly to it and need removing, for a start… :/ That sounds harsh but it’d be nice if I actually RECEIVED comments.

    I’m glad your trip home for Easter went well. Good that your bf got to met your family and that it went well.

    Aw I hope you figure out something with Despair.nu I’d hate to see it close. Of course I know I don’t get a lot of the comments from people but hey that’s life.

    I really want to go to the beach! I’m hoping over Summer I can go too – and also focus a bit more on website stuff. ;-)

    I really really really don’t think Despair should close! Whilst I would agree it’s not in it’s best state at the moment we could easily change that.

    And I mean we! Maybe you should find a handful of dedicated Despair users and have them fully help out with maintaining it? That way it’s not just down to one person and busy schedules can be worked around!

    Maybe Despair needs a whole new refresh as well? Perhaps delete the entire database and start again and really enforce the rules and promote reporting to make the whole exchange more efficient?

    I don’t know, I would really hate to see Despair go. I’m another person that can vouch for having found some great people though using the site!

    And you know I’ll always help in anyway I can! :grin:
