I’m officially 24, and although it doesn’t feel any different than 23 I had a nice birthday :)! I came home on Thursday after class and I am headed back to Tallahassee tomorrow afternoon since I have classes again on Tuesday. I spent my birthday with family and had a yummy dinner and cake. My mom put 24 candles on my cake and when I blew them out I expected the fire alarm to go off, haha. There was so much smoke, but my now 15 month old nephew thought it was funny Although, my birthday started out with a bang … literally.

Saturday night my mother and I watched my nephew so my sister could go out for her friend’s 30th birthday since her hubbie had to work. While driving back to the house with my mother several cop cars went speeding by (we assumed to an accident), about 3 cars later another police car went speeding by. The van that was in front of us for some reason decided to get into the left lane where the cop was speeding to and then realized their stupidty and was coming back into our lane, so naturally my mother slowed down for them and the cop. The car behind us didn’t stop and hit us. Thankfully the guy that hit us was not going fast so we were not injured (nor was he) and both vechiles were fine. It was more of a shock! After we checked the damage of the car and the guy apologized about a dozen times we got back in the car and it was offically the 17th and my birthday

Also thank you for the lovely comments on the new blog and layout! I’ve already begun working on a new one (I guess me taking so long to code this one made me sick of it haha) and I am hoping to have the illustrations complete over the new week and then coded the following week
