I am taking part in the Veracity 31 day blog challenge! Day 11 prompt is: What inspired you to create your personal blog? What continues to inspire you?
I believe I was most inspired by other blogs and websites in general. I had a livejournal already as well and loved the idea of really putting “my life” out on the web for “everyone” to read. I’m not sure on the exact blogs I was looking at, but I believe it was most likely members of the first forum I joined. I loved the idea of posting about things and people commenting, even if no one read it and even if no one commented I still wanted to do it. I have been blogging for SO many years it almost feels weird to not blog because it has become such a huge part of my life.
What continues to inspire me is just, everything. I still love doing it and I still have the desire to do so. I have made some great friends from blogging and continue to make new ones. I am constantly inspired by blogs I follow, things I see, and just my life in general. I’m not sure if I’ll still be blogging when I am in my 80′s but I like to think that I will be!

I was people the same. I remember thinking it was incredible that people could have little pieces of the internet to themselves and it wasn’t overly expensive.
The internet is awesome that way!
