I am particpating in a blogathon on Veracity, and since my main website (Artsie.me) is going through a host change I thought I’d post it here and just transfer it over to my main website I am waiting for the DNS finish propagating and was not sure how long it would take and did not want to be get behind on the blogathon! The move has finished! Some comments may have been lost in the transfer so my apologizes!

I am taking part in the Veracity 31 day blog challenge! Week 3 theme is Picture-A-Day! Post a picture of your computer(s). When did you purchase it? What do you like and dislike about it?

I have more than one computer. So first up is my desktop. The monitor is from an old desktop I had years ago (back in highschool) and last year my ex boyfriend built me a custom PC for gaming. I need to upgrade some of the parts since they’re not the best (no offense to him I guess but it’s true lol). Main con is the fact parts need to be upgraded and I’d also love to get a bit larger monitor for it. Plus a new keyboard and mouse (currently use a wireless logitech for both). Above is an old picture of it from when he first built it main difference is my desk is arranged differently and the actual computer part is on the floor instead of next to the monitor. My PC also runs Windows 7.

I also have a Macbook Pro which I got in the summer of 2007. I LOVE it. I’d like to get a newer one though since the graphics card is a bit faulty (it was involved in a lawsuit last year with NVIDIA). I still love it though and even with a not-so-perfect part it still runs well It currently runs Snow Leopard and I’ll upgrade to Lion when I get a newer computer in a year or so. The picture above is from an old room tour I did on a message board I post at, now my laptop sits to the side instead of on my desk. The picture to the right of it is the back because I have an awesome Iron Man decal on the back of it which I love

Finally I also have an iPad which I consider to be a computer as well. It can do just as much as a computer can but it’s more convenient to take around with me I got my iPad in December of 2010 and yes it was before the second version came out but I do not need a camera on my iPad since I got the iPhone 4 earlier this year. I LOVE IT! I have the 16GB model which is plenty of space for me I love my iPad. The picture above is of my iPad in a docking station that has a keyboard attached to it. I actually bought it today at work for $45 because it was on clearance for 50% plus my discount :D! I love it so far with it!

My boyfriend also has an 27″ iMac which I LOVE USING! I’m hoping to get an iMac myself after I graduate in another year or so
