Since I got my Kindle Touch for Christmas I’ve been addicted to reading on it. I’ve already read the first two books in The Hunger Games series (which I recommend!) and just purchased the third (final book in the series) to read. I was never really that big into reading when I was little. Sure I’d read a book but never read them as much as I do now. Now I can sit for hours and often find myself reading an entire book series in just a day or two. Back then, it’d take me AGES to read that many books – assuming I even really tried. I enjoyed reading then and books in general but just never got into any series (except for maybe Lord of the Rings).

The first book series I read in a matter of days was Harry Potter (books 1-6).  My best friend and I decided we wanted try the books and see what the hype was about. Both of us purchased the first two books and both of us read them that night. Since then I’ve been into reading series after series. I’ve also started reading the Sookie Stackhouse series (love the True Blood show too!), Northern Lights, and a few more that I still need to finish. Reading is something I LOVE to do and just can not get enough of! I almost wish the Kindle was around when I was little because it probably would have gotten me into reading even back then. The Kindle also makes it a lot easier to just sit and read for hours. Even though I love reading on my Kindle I also love having hard copies of books and probably will still by my favorites When I have my own house I hope to have walls covered in books shelves.

In the last blog I mentioned the current projects I am working on for all of my classes. Well I have been working on each one since then and thought I’d share the progress on them :D!

Web Development

This is not our final project. We had to build a social networking website. I chose to create one about gamers. With the help of my super-awesome professor we were able to add the ability of people to upload screenshots to display on their profile. I am really loving this class and sad it’s almost over! Our final project is creating a Wordpress site – think I should be fine with that one  Already turned in this website, just waiting for my grade. And my professor emailed me asking if he can use my website as an example for future semesters YAY!

Painting I

I think this is a method I may use for a future painting. Creating something in photoshop and then painting it. I am really loving how my painting is turning out so far (the picture is kinda bleh :P). I plan on creating a blog post just about this painting once it’s completed to show the full process for it. As well as discuss why I painted what I did. This project is due Wednesday!

Media Print Problems Workshop

I finished the book resume we had to design and showed my professor on Thursday. She basically told me that I could design something better – and she’s right! I am currently working on a new book (which I’ll post pictures of once it’s finished) but have also been coding away at the website. Still have quite a bit of coding to do but it’s up if people want to see it so far.

In other news, I also opened two new blogs over the last few weeks! ChicksPwn.us which is a group gaming blog! Will post reviews, general gaming chat, and more. I also opened TradeChat.us with my boyfriend (although I’ve been the only one posting haha) where it’s all about World of Warcraft! I also even opened back up my youtube channel (nacochan) where I have been posting WoW videos and soon will post gameplay from my xbox 360 as well as vlogs.

I made a post before when I first got my white iPhone 4 back in May, and since then I am still totally in love with it. I chose to get an iPhone because I wanted to get a new iPod and I also needed a new phone so it fit! I love having a phone with 3G on it and months later it’s still entertaining me The picture above is from when I first got it, and I still have the same case on my phone but have my eyes set on a few that I may purchase over the next few weeks.
