I am taking part in the Veracity 31 day blog challenge! Day 12 prompt is: What are some of your must have programs on your computer? For those with smart phones or tablets, what are some must have applications on your devices? List no more than 5 for each.

For my computer(s) I must have:

Photoshop, even if it’s just for editing a quick photo verses making a full fledged layout I must have it.
FTP, on my macbook pro I use cyberduck and on my desktop I have FileZilla. I must have some sort of an FTP program.
iTunes, mainly use it now to sync stuff on my iPhone and iPad from my macbook pro but when I do listen to music on my laptop or desktop it’s my program of choice.
World of Warcraft, it’s a must when it comes to my desktop! I took it off my laptop since it’s not needed on both devices but it’s a must have for me.
Google Chrome, the only web browser I use and will only use. On both my laptop and desktop.

For my iPhone or iPad I must have:

Bing, I recently installed it on my iPad and I LOVE using it to do searches!
Weather HD, the best weather app I have used on both my iPhone and iPad. It shows visually what the weather will be like which I like.
Weight Watchers Mobile, I have it installed on both my iPhone and iPad. I signed up a few weeks ago for Weight Watchers (which I am enjoying so far!) and having access to it right in the palm of my hands makes it easier to track what I am eating. Although I am not using it as much as I should be I am trying to use it everyday!
Games, from angry birds to cut the rope I have to have some sort of games on my devices. For those days at work when I am bored during my break or when I am at school I like to entertain myself with something.
To Do List, I have used several apps when it comes to do lists and keeping things in order. For regular to do lists I love one called aNote but for school I recently installed iStudiez Pro on my iPad to keep track of my assignments and grades.

I’ve been brain storming a post with a list of my favorite and must have apps for both the iPhone and iPad which I will post in the future but this is a general idea of my must haves.

I am taking part in the Veracity 31 day blog challenge! Day 8 prompt is: What are some gadgets you can not live without? Why? List no more than 5!

I’ve got gadgets and gizmos aplenty, i’ve got whozits and whatzits galore … what can I say I love The Little Mermaid But in all seriousness everyone has gadgets they just love and here are mine.

iPhone – ever since I got my iPhone back in May and I don’t know what I did without a smart phone! I LOVE it. Of course I’ve always loved having a phone (who doesn’t love texting? :P) but this is just so much more. I can use it to browse the web, check email, play random games while at work when I’m on my break and bored out of mind. I love it :love:!
iPad – I have a thing for apple products what can I say. I got the iPad before I got my iPhone which may be what really made me want an iPhone as well. I love my iPad. I love laying in the bed browsing the internet or just curling up to a good book. I also love using it at school, it’s so much lighter than my laptop so it’s a lot easier to take on campus with me. I also love all the apps I have found that help me stay organized for school and other things
Computer – it’s what I design on and play video games on. I don’t know what I’d do without my computer (I guess if I could use photoshop on my iPad and as well as play World of Warcraft I wouldn’t need a computer!). Of course I have a macbook pro (which I love) as well as a not-too-shabby gaming desktop running Windows 7 (want to update the parts though!) and I have access to my boyfriend’s 27” iMac which is just gorgeous.

Honestly, 3 is really all I need. If I had to make the list a full 5 I’d also say my xbox 360 because it’s fun and my tv so I can actually play it haha.

So, Dayna made a post about this and Rose also made a post about this (which I fail at locating). So it’s had me a little curious about my search queries for Artsie. So here is what people have been searching for and the entry that got them to my site

“are zombies ever gonna atrack the world”
“could zombies ever invade the world?”
“what to do if come across a zombie”
“will zombies ever be real”
“is there going to be an zombie invasion”
“if the world was invaded by zombies would we survive?”
“could we survive zombie invasion”
“will earth ever have a zombie”

… yes to all of the above. I assume all in reference to my post, How I Would Survive A Zombie Invasion, and I hope people learned from that post at least when we are taken over by zombies. There was also,

“can i be a waterbender” reference to Can I Be A Waterbender? PLZ! And no, you can’t. Only I can!

“meaning of red hand at crosswalk albuquerque”
“can someone call in a complaint if you run a crosswalk?” both reference my Illustrated Guide On Using Crosswalks, and the answer is yes… to both.

“snow white annoying voice”
“why does snow white s voice sound weird?” both reference Why I Dislike Snow White, and yes her voice is annoying and her voice sounds weird to annoy dogs while humans watch the movie.

And also had a lot of searches reference design classes and galleries. And of course “despair.nu”, which for those who know what the site is I am hopeful that is is coming back soon ;) I definitely think I’ll keep looking up what people are searching, because it amuses me!
