Tonight for dinner Patrick (boyfriend) came over and we made taco salad. It was soooo good. I love making things I haven’t personally made before or had in a while, and that was one of them. It was so good, left overs tomorrow ftw!
This week also mixed rice with tomato soup and it was tasty too

Today was the volunteering event at the local Animal Shelter (done through my job) and it was fun and interesting There were about 20+ of us and they only expected about 5-10, so they had to find lots for us to do 
One girl I work with and I folded a bunch of towels and blankets but while we waited for the ones in the dryer to dry we wandered around. We found the cages with soooo many cute puppies and dogs, one of which I wanted to steal. He was a very calm and sweet little puppy and I wanted to steal him 
At one point we were looking through a door with a glass window in it and one of the vet techs told us we could go in to watch, oh boy. Turns out one of the vet techs was neutering a kitty. She was explaining everything as she did and we both had a shocked look on our face since we didn’t know that was what we’d be walking in to It was interesting to see though to say the least haha.
After being there for about 2 hours we went to the local park to grill yummy burgers and hot dogs and just relax and have fun. Played some frisbee, attempted to play badminton, and some weird game involving a ball and a plastic funnel looking throwing thing … I forget the name of it. Overall I had a nice day Oh how I wish I could have adopted all of those pets there! They said 11,000+ come in the shelter a year and only 9,000 or so find a home. So sad.
First off, thanks for the comments on the vlog :D! If I get a chance I may do another one tomorrow, I planned on it today but I got lazy haha.
Tomorrow from 9-11 I am volunteering (through my job) at a local animal shelter, I’m excited! Usually I don’t get a chance to participate in these events and volunteer things through work due to school or something else but since I am on summer break I get to go Riding over with a friend from work, we’re going to bathe the animals, clean up, walk them, etc etc. Afterwards we’re having a nice picnic at a local park Om nom nom, can’t wait for that either
I imagine I’ll leave wanting to buy every animal there
