You want to know something about me? What makes me tick? Try this out for size: Veronica Mars, bad to the bone. Lover of animals, champion of free will, and all-around collegiate superstar, and I’ll take your case and raise you one. Okay so, technically I got that from the Veronica Mars show but hey it’s catchy and ever since the show made it’s debut I constantly get told “Oh your name is Veronica, like Veronica Mars?!” (even after the show ended!) So in truth, my name is in fact Veronica and I am 24 years old (1/17/1986) female living in Florida. I moved January 2007 with my best friend of about 12 years (Becca) where we both are art majors at FSU in Tallahassee, Florida (about 3 hours from where I was living before with my mother). I tend to be rather dorky and random at times and I don’t think I always make sense. I’m a WoWer and addicted to my Xbox 360 (that I got in November ’09). I still love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all things kinda dorky. I have great friends, great family, and I’m just living my life daily in hopes of furthering my education.

I get very into something very easily and almost anything amuses me. I think sharks are cute and I’d love to have one as pet. I also really want to go sky diving, bungee jumping, and swimming with sharks and dolphins (not at the same time!). I’ve always been a happy child, but in the end I couldn’t ask for a better life (well, unless I was queen of the universe, that’d be fun). I constantly get told I don’t look my age, but I figure that at 30 I’ll look 20 so it all evens out.

In short, I am college student who experiences some interesting adventures a long the way. If you have a question for me, ask it! Don’t be shy, either contact me via the link to the right-ish and ask any questions or anything.

Behind Naco

I get asked a lot what my nickname means and where it came from. In about 9th grade or so my friend Becca and I were into writing fanfics and such (we were bored), and one day on the phone Becca was beginning to type one and was complaining that my real name, Veronica, is long and she hates typing it.

So her and I began to use letters of my real name to make myself a nickname. After a while we ended up coming up with Naco. After that it just stuck. It became my nickname that some friends call me offline as well as my online nickname too. Naco comes from the bold letters in my name: Veronica. Naco is very easy to pronounce, but some still get confused. It’s spoken just like the word taco, but with an n. Say it with me, Nah-ko. Becca, and a few others, also call me Nacho (instead of Naco) and when I am called Nacho I tend to say “Nac-yo-hoe” (not your hoe), for some reason. Yeah it’s okay I don’t get it either. I also have a nickname at work which is “V-Ron”, because apparently everyone hates how long my name is haha.

Enter the Matrix

I have an awesome dog, named Neo Angelus. He’s a 9 year old mutt (part poodle and possibly terrier) that I received from my farther and stepmother for Christmas in 2000. He loves long walks on the beach and he hates fingernail polish and baths. He weighs about 25lbs and is black/white/grey. He’s very very HYPER but yet really smart at the same time. His name Neo, comes from the movie The Matrix mainly because I didn’t know what else to name him. His name was in fact “nameless” for a few days (I had names picked out for a girl dog, and well he turned out not to be a girl). His middle name, Angelus, is from my favorite show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for he’s a little demon at times. I’ve trained him myself to do the following: beg, play dead, shake with both paws, lay down, sit, high-five, and jump through a hula-hoop.

He’s a lovely little dog, and a joy to be around! Unfortunately when I moved in ’07 to Tallahassee Neo stayed at home with my mother. Hopefully soon he’ll be joining me in Tallahassee though!
